All interested and qualified students should apply for admission to the Honors Program in addition to being admitted to NIU. Those students who are accepted into the Honors Program will receive priority placement in the Honors House.
Honors-eligible students who do not apply to the Honors Program may apply to be Honors House residents. Honors Program participants and previous residents of the Honors House will have first choice of occupancy, however. Any additional openings will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis to Honors-eligible students.
Honors Program eligibility will be confirmed before a housing placement is made.
