Students graduating in the top 10 percent of their high school classes, with minimum ACT composite scores of 27, are encouraged to participate.
The Honors Program also invites current NIU students, transfer students and community college graduates based on an overall GPA of 3.20 on a 4.00 scale. If you are close to meeting the minimum requirements, please apply. Many students are granted provisional admission after meeting with honors advisers.
